Bundle wrapped products can be stacked on pallet / spiral wrapped and transported to point of sale. Some product containers, can not withstand the compression weight of stacking on without addition of supporting media. Gable top cartons are one example where the gables can bend under top pressure leading to the collapse of the pallet. One can improve the compressive strength of the gable top shrink bundle by inserting a vertical sheet of cardboard between rows.
Following customer demands, Autopack has developed a very simple and inexpensive card inserting option to complement its range of Shrink Bundlers.
The vertical card inserter is fully adjustable covering range from 180ml to 1L gable top packages.
